Kitchenware built for the way you actually live.
We started with one frustration: most kitchenware is designed to be sold, not used. Everything since has been a response to that.

Who We Are
Fewer products, chosen carefully, built to be passed down.
AL Buruz began with a simple frustration: most kitchenware is designed to be sold, not used. We wanted pieces that could survive a decade of Sunday dinners, that would look better with a little wear, and that felt as good in the hand as they looked on the shelf.
Every collection we carry is developed with a small group of makers who still work by hand — coppersmiths, glassblowers, woodturners — people who care as much about the twentieth year of ownership as the first day.
We keep our catalog intentionally small. Fewer products, chosen carefully, built to be passed down rather than replaced.

What Drives Us
Our Four Commitments
Craft First
Every product we stock has been made by hand — forged, turned, thrown or blown by skilled makers who take pride in the twentieth year of ownership, not just the first.
Materials That Age
We choose copper, carbon steel, stoneware and solid wood over coatings that flake. Materials that patina, season and improve tell the story of a kitchen that's actually used.
Small Producers
Our catalog is assembled from over 40 independent ateliers and workshops. Smaller runs mean stricter quality control and a direct relationship with the people who make what you buy.
Built to Pass Down
We back every piece with a lifetime craftsmanship guarantee. If it fails in normal use we'll make it right — not because it's a policy, but because that's what the work deserves.
“Everything here is here because nothing better exists for the price.”
